Details

Securely store and easily access your spare SCBA cylinders, water cans, and fire extinguishers with Zico’s Plastic Air Cylinder and Extinguisher Cradle.

This heavy-duty molded plastic cradle can store spare SCBA cylinders, water cans, and fire extinguishers. The cradle comes with either a tie-down strap or a valve strap.

The rugged nylon tie-down strap with an easy-to-release buckle loops around the cylinder and tray for added security, making it great for use in side compartments. The rugged nylon valve strap loops around the cylinder neck for added security and can be bolted nearby, making it ideal for use in wheel well compartments.

    DO NOT BUY...HORRIBLE DESIGN!!

Posted by Verified Buyer on Jan 4th 2019

I purchased four of these to secure spare SCBA cylinders and water can fire extinguishers. This is a great idea if the manufacturer followed through with the design. The cradle itself is hard plastic with no friction so SCBA cylinders and extinguishers slide freely on it. The cradle can only be secured with screws on one end. The other end is open and there is no way to secure it. The hold-down strap just slides underneath the cradle so it too can slide freely. My equipment was less secure after being placed on the cradle than when just laid in the compartment.
