Details

Among the most advanced and innovative multipurpose gloves on the market, Pro-Tech 8’s B.O.S.S. Series Litex Glove provides effective oil, acid, and chemical resistance.

The B.O.S.S. Series Litex Glove is your Best Offensive Safety Solution for technical rescue, rope rescue, extrication, specialty, cleanup, and utility applications. The silicone coated Kevlar palm and finger sidewalls are highly tear resistant and Level 3 cut resistant, making them ideal for extrication.

The fingertips and part of the palm are made of rubberized Kevlar and Litex, a special proprietary blend of Kevlar, rubber, and latex that resists extreme temperatures (ranging from -50°F to 700°F). The Litex/rubberized Kevlar blend provides reliable oil, acid, and chemical resistance.

An adjustable hook & loop wrist closure prevents debris and other irritants from getting inside the glove. Keep your hands well protected from oil, acid, and chemical hazards while you work by wearing Pro-Tech 8’s B.O.S.S. Series Litex Glove.

Palm heat protection is good; back isn't

I also use these gloves for metalworking because they provide heat and cut protection. They work well for handling hot materials, but don't have any heat protection on the back of the fingers. If they'd make these in a reverse configuration, they'd be perfect for TIG welding - heat protection on the back of the hand, high tactile on the fingertips. Order one size larger than you'd normally wear, and they'll fit perfectly. I'm on my second pair, and only because the first pair got lost on-scene. I like the orange for better visibility.
