The CCI Radio Strap and Holster system was purpose-built to meet the demanding needs of public safety professionals. Whether used independently or together with the CCI Anti-Sway Strap, this system delivers unmatched adjustability, modularity, and durability—ideal for both individual users and departments issuing shared equipment.

CCI Radio Strap

The CCI Radio Strap offers full adjustability without the bulk or inconvenience of traditional buckles. It was specifically designed for users who need fast, on-the-fly adjustments—particularly firefighters who wear bulky gear like bunker coats. With the CCI Strap, there's no need to wear a low-hanging strap all day just to accommodate outerwear.

• Rear Adjustment: Sets the base strap length so the radio bucket sits comfortably at waist level, aligned with the user's hip.
• Front Adjustment: A 1.5" COBRA buckle allows for fast front-side adjustments—adding up to 8 inches of extra length to clear bulky outerwear or adapt to different users if the strap is shared.
• Emergency Release: The COBRA buckle also allows for immediate disconnection when needed.
• Microphone Loop: Fully adjustable and can be positioned anywhere along the shoulder strap.
• PALS/MOLLE Webbing: Two tabs sewn above the COBRA buckle allow for attachments like pens, flashlights, or modular pouches. 
• Hardware: Non-swivel HK-style snap hooks attach the strap to the radio bucket. The flexible strap material eliminates the need for swivels.
• Field-Serviceable: Components such as end hooks and the microphone loop can be replaced by the user without returning the product. The hooks are removable by unweaving the Tri-Glides.

CCI Radio Holster

Designed to pair perfectly with the CCI Radio Strap, the CCI Radio Holster is a rugged, modular pouch capable of securely holding a wide range of radios used in public safety.

• Height Adjustability: Accommodates tall, short, or mid-size radios without relying on bungee cords, which are prone to failure. The adjustment system uses paracord, dual snap buttons, and a metal slider with four receiver positions. A finished pull-cord allows quick, easy length adjustments.
• Mounting Options:
• Left Side: PALS/MOLLE webbing for modular accessories like a penlight or small knife.
• Right Side: A small utility pouch that fits a standard multi-tool (modeled after the Leatherman Wave), EMS gloves, or similar gear.
• Back Side: Additional PALS/MOLLE webbing enables mounting to a chest rig, belt, or harness with compatible tabs.
• Attachment Points: Two circular rings at the top of the holster interface seamlessly with the HK hooks from the CCI Radio Strap. Swivels are not required, as movement is accommodated through the flexible design.
• Easy Decontamination: The holster can be machine washed or run through an extractor with a soft detergent.

Two different lengths of straps are available

Regular Length 54-64 inches long, 71 inches MAX

Extended Length 58-75 inches long, 80 inches MAX

The first dimension lists how short or long the strap can be made on the rear side adjustment.

The MAX dimension lists how long the strap can be made if the front and rear adjustment is run out all the way.

6 ft tall and shorter should be the Regular Length

6 ft tall and up should be the Extended Length

The holster is designed around the Motorola APX 8000XE series radio, but it will fit the following radios and anything in similar dimension:
