Phenix uses only top-grain cowhide—strong, flexible, and true to the traditional look firefighters have always valued. But unlike the old rock-hard helmets of the past, this one is built for today’s job. Modern vegetable-tanning keeps the leather soft and flexible, letting the longer rear brim flex under impact instead of transferring the force to your neck. The raised crossover beams are tough, resilient, and built to take a hit without cracking.
