Details

The first hook specifically designed for roof work.

Two sharp teeth at each end of the T-head make penetration of 90 lbs. to 180 lbs. roof with little effort. A sharpened chisel on the handle end adds to the functional make-up of the tool. Superior prying capabilities when removing roof boards.

It can also be used as a rail or foot hold after driving the T through the roof. Pushing down ceilings of cocklofts can also be accomplished by using the T as a ram. Excellent overhaul too. Shaft is standard aircraft steel. Exclusive Celtex self extinguishing grips.

  • A regular tapered pike pole head
  • Ten sharpened cross cutting teeth on its back can cut on the pull stroke as well as the push stroke
  • It will cut lath, plaster and sheetrock faster than any tool on the market today
  • Used with a "D" handle, it can easily saw through ice in a pond, lake or river
  • Available with a straight pole or a D-handle
  • Fiberglass or steel pole
  • Fiberglass pole comes standard with the gas shut-off
  • Steel pole comes standard with the pry end

    Excellent Hook

Posted by Verified Buyer on Dec 28th 2013

We have so far used this hook (4' with D Handle) to pull both drywall and p&l. Two days after receiving this tool we were called on an attic fire and the hook got a real work out. Everyone who used it loved it. Cut right through the drywall and just annihilated the plaster and lathe. With so many tools becoming lightweight, this tool is actually heavier. This is not a strike against the tool, but actually a plus. We noticed that you didn't have to really jam it through like our lightweight pike poles but instead the weight of the tool helped carry it through the material. Really looking forward to trying it out on ice when we do our ice rescue training later this winter. I will not buy another hook for the fire department that is not a gator back.
