TangoDown, Inc., is proud to announce the Vickers Tactical Magazine Floor Plate for Glock pistols.
Few people understand modern combat pistol craft like Larry Vickers, who has a distinct eye for potential real-world pistol improvements. After countless hours behind the pistol, he intuitively understands what will fall short in a gun fight. According to Larry, Glock has a reputation for simplicity, durability, and accuracy; however, the OEM magazine base plate on their pistols constitute a small flaw that could ruin your day. If the magazine fails to fall free from the pistol during a critical speed reload, there’s little you can do about it quickly.
The Factory magazine base plate is undersized, and offers no grip area to enable stripping the magazine if stuck in the weapon. You can’t always rely on the small frame cutout, especially when wearing gloves, or using The Plug. The VT Tactical Floor Plate fixes this fast! Made of high quality, glass-filled nylon for superior strength, these floor plates offer plenty of non-slip surface to strip a stubborn magazine from the weapon, even if stuck with mud, sand or ice. Excellent for one handed use too, just hook the floor plate under a belt, against a holster, etc. to stay in the fight.
The VT Tactical Floor Plates also provide a larger, more positive surface when pulling magazines from pouches, speeding reloads. Concaved dots allow easy numbering & marking of spare magazines. For use with Glock magazine calibers: 9x19mm, .40 Smith & Wesson, .357 SIG, .45 GAP (*Not compatable with Gen 1 non-metal lined MAG's) Sold in packs of 5, because any serious fighting handgun should have 5 reliability-proven magazines close by.
