While ordinary boots can be stiff and heavy, the design of the Light Assault Boots was inspired by athletic shoes, thus providing a flexible, lightweight feel. Lightweight Cordura® and breathable synthetic uppers offer lasting ventilated comfort and excellent abrasion resistance. The removable EVA midsoles provide maximum comfort and long-lasting shock absorption, while the slip-resistant rubber outsoles give you reliable traction and sure-footed surface grips, even on unstable terrain. The Light Assault Boots feature a metal speed loop lacing system with anti-IR coating for easy donning and doffing of the boots. The lacing system also locks the rip- and tear-resistant 100% braided nylon laces in place when you’re wearing the boots for a secure and comfortable fit.
