Designed to work in almost any terrain or water type, CMC’s RIT-Craft Rescue Boat makes it easy to transport a patient to safety.
The RIT-Craft Rescue Boat is a versatile, multi-season workhorse with myriad rescue applications. On ice or snow, the boat can be slid along the surface, dragged by responders, or towed behind an ATV or a snowmobile. In open water, the craft can be paddled by one or two people or towed behind a boat or personal watercraft. The boat’s shallow draft allows for easy pivoting and maneuvering on nearly any surface. Measuring 12 ft. (3.7 m) long by 58 in. (1.5 m) wide, the RIT-Craft features an open transom for easy patient retrieval; the craft can carry up to five passengers at a time, making it easier for rescuers to monitor a patient’s vital signs en route to shore or another safe location. The RIT-Craft can be inflated and deployed in minutes using a SCBA or compressor, and can be stowed away in most apparatus compartments when deflated. Versatile, reliable, and easy to use, CMC’s RIT-Craft Rescue Boat is an excellent patient retrieval device for swift water, flat water, ice, and snow rescues.
